Hey, leaders!  Last weekend was huge in promoting what Celebration is all about--community!  Community is doing life with other believers, volunteering, coming to men's and Word Works, and of course C-Groups! If you haven't plugged into one of these groups yet then stop by the table this weekend! Additionally, if you would like to organize your own C-Group, paperwork will be available at the table also.

Special Service Weekend!

This weekend Damon Thompson will be with us Saturday and Sunday night. It will truly be life changing. Don't go by yourself-- bring someone with you! Also, come pumped and ready for a new series by Pastor Randy called Rescued on Sunday morning. Don't miss this weekend full of life and vision with Damon as he launches us into March with incredible momentum.

March Madness

Why do we need the momentum coming into March? Because, every Saturday in March we are going to have the opportunity to continue inviting more people to get saved. These Saturday night services will have a different speaker every week, including Glen Berteau, Phil Munsey, and Matthew Barnett.  Every Saturday will be packed with excitement and passion. If you feel like you have been getting tired and running on empty, then come get charged and refueled. These Saturdays will all culminate with Easter weekend! Easter weekend is one of the greatest opportunities we have to bring people to church that don't normally attend. Now is the time to begin looking for people to invite, and let God do the rest.

Volunteers of the Week are...Jim and Susan Hoppock!

Not only are they a couple of the longest attending members of Celebration, but they are the leaders of our ages 50+ ministry.  They ensure the generation that has paved the way for the rest of us continues to sharpen one another and keep this ministry strong! They host these gatherings every second Friday of the month. Jim and Susan have been such a strength to the leadership of Celebration since the day they started attending. We love you both.  Thank you for all you do!

Last, we are going to start posting a prayer target of the week for the blog!

I know that we as a staff have been changed by what prayer has done in this church and we want to offer those of you who don't regularly attend morning prayer a chance to be united with us in a common prayer target throughout the week.

This week we are praying that the people who come to Celebration and accept Christ become what the Word calls "fruit that remains".  We are believing that people become rooted and connected, in their relationship with God, and also in this church body.  Our desire is to see people grow spiritually and flourish as they do what God has uniquely called them to do.

Thank you for being the awesome leaders that you are.  We love you.

Vision Weekend is upon us!

It's finally here! Tomorrow, at 7pm at the Clovis Campus, we are kicking off this exciting weekend with our CVAs! This is a party/award ceremony especially for you and your family. It's our way of showing you that we appreciate and honor everything you do for our ministry. We promise you a night full of laughter and fun! That's not where we end this amazing weekend though. The message this weekend is going to be filled to the brim with vision for where our church is headed! This is not a weekend you'll want to miss!

Volunteers of the Week are... Cody and Natalie Loftis!

For those of you who have yet to have the privilege of meeting this lovely couple, you're missing out! They are our amazing Fresno 2sm directors who go out of their way every weekend to make sure the lives of each teen that steps foot on our campus are changed. Their outgoing personality and loving heart speaks to multitudes, and their willingness and joy in what they do regardless of the task at hand shows their true character. Natalie and Cody we appreciate everything you do for us and are grateful to have you as a part of our team. We love you!

Wednesday Night Workshops

What an incredible time we had last night! This powerful series is helping us identify and break the spirit of intimidation in our lives. As we continue on week four of our workshops, you're getting closer and closer to breaking the hold of intimidation on your life. Do not miss what God has in store for you! ·      Healing school

It’s happening!! Healing school classes are taking place every Friday at 9:30 am in our Fresno campus. During these classes we will continue learning what the Word says regarding healing and the process of growing our faith by hearing and receiving the Word. At the end, you will be given the opportunity to place some action on what you’ve learned. We will have people ready to pray with you and come in agreement for your healing. We look forward to seeing you there!

Andrew is a humble and hard working volunteer, always ready to lend a helping hand and catches on quickly!! A great person to be around, he is the definition of a willing and gentle spirit. For this reason, we have chosen him as Volunteer of the Week! Thank you for all your hard work Andrew! We appreciate you.

·      2SM camp

Zip lines, Muddy obstacles, 75ft jumps, pool parties, campfires…you’re thinking, how can I sign up!? Well if you’re in JR high through high school or have children in that age group, Camp XIII is coming up! For those who are unaware, this is our summer youth camp! Five days of pure enjoyment for your teens! Many of us can testify that it was at a youth camp that we really experienced God’s tangible purpose for our life. Don’t miss this opportunity! Get them signed up at the 2sm lounge this weekend.

We have an especially exciting weekend planned JUST FOR YOU this month! It kicks off on Friday, the 22^nd. We’re having a CVA award ceremony acknowledging the outstanding tasks you’ve accomplished. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll have fun and stuff your face. Who doesn’t like that!? This is a united event on the Clovis campus, starting at 7pm. We can’t wait to party with you! Healing School Begins this Friday!

Every Friday at 9:30am, Healing School will meet in the sanctuary on the Fresno campus.  These sessions are an opportunity to find out what the Word says about divine healing, grow in faith, and then apply that faith and pray for healing.  If you would like to participate by sitting in on the teaching and/or have someone pray with you for your healing, we welcome you to come.

Camp '13

That’s right- youth camp is back and better than ever! Many of us can testify that it’s at a youth camp when we first radically experienced God and gained purpose and direction in our life. That’s what this camp has the potential to be for your junior high and high school student. Registration has begun, so make sure that you get a packet at the connection tables and get your child to camp this summer!

Volunteer of the Week is…Jamie Ogletree!

Jamie is a faithful member of the Little KIC team, serving in the nursery every weekend at our 8:30am service. Because of her commitment, she was recently made the lead in Starry Night. We appreciate her genuine love and care for the next generation. Jamie, we love you and we’re so glad to have you as part of our team, and church family!

This weekend we have Pastor Randy speaking at all the services! He is stirred up and ready to keep the momentum going from this last weekend with Damon Thompson. Be in expectation, and be inviting! We love you and we’re so glad that we get to link arms and further the cause of Christ together. Let’s make this a great weekend!

A special thank you to those leaders that joined us at the united healing service this last Wednesday night. God's presence was there, people were healed, and no doubt you will never receive communion the same again! The key thought that night was how important it is to love and value God AND love and value people, and to judge ourselves if we are failing in one of those areas. Let's not forget what we heard, and be people that constantly check our heart, and passionately love God and others!

This is THE Big Weekend!

No, I'm not talking about that silly Super Bowl! I'm talking about Damon Thompson being back with us all weekend! That's right- he's not only speaking Saturday and Sunday night. He's going to be ministering at the Sunday morning services too.

What does that mean for you? Well, that means you have even more opportunity to be strengthened and ministered to, as well as all the people that you're going to invite who desperately need to know the Lord. Remember, as believers and leaders we have to stay on mission and realize that we live where we live, work where we work, and have the family and friends that we do because we are called to reach them and introduce them to Jesus! Let's pack those services out and see record numbers of people get saved!! And, of course, we plan on having some fun. In honor of the big game this weekend, show some pride for your team, and rock a jersey Sunday morning!

It's Finally Here!

Word Works and Mens make their long awaited return this coming Wednesday right on the Fresno campus at 7 pm! Pastor Randy personally selected the curriculum, and we believe it will make a huge impact on your spiritual growth and effectiveness as believers. Plus, we have FUN and build relationships. So, come on out, and invite people, especially those who are new on campus and looking to get connected.

Araceli is best known as the bubbly barista serving in the coffee bar on the weekends. She is also a table leader for Word Works. Her infectious enthusiasm is an example to everyone of how joyful it is to serve. Araceli, thank you for your hard work and dedication. We love you and appreciate you!

Night of Healing

Our final day of fasting and uniting in the evening is this Wednesday on the Clovis campus at 7pm. Pastor Randy said this night will be specifically for those who need any form of healing in their life. If you need healing, make sure you're there, and if you know someone who does, be bringing them!

Along with faithfully serving on weekend teams, Jason and Jenny generously lend their time, talents, and even their home to other Celebration ministries. Thank you for loving and serving the people of this church. We love and value you both!

It seems the running theme in this week's blog is to personally attend gatherings, and to invite people. Please know, we don't ask you to come because we like to fill your schedule-- we ask because we know that God has something for you there. Because you believe you're called to be a part of Celebration, words that are released over this house are for you and affect you. Your destiny and your blessing are tied to this church. We ask you to come because we know it's to your benefit if you do.

In addition, we ask you to invite because it's no longer just about you. You're saved. You might have struggles, but the most important thing is that your eternity is secured and you have a right relationship with Christ. Now, your call as a believer and a leader is to seek and save those who are lost. One of the easiest ways is to get someone to a service where they experience God's presence, learn about Jesus, and have the opportunity to accept Him. There is no greater joy as a believer than to invite someone and then see them get saved.

We love you, and we are committed to seeing you fulfill your purpose. Know that we as a campus staff are here for you and believe in you.

Fasting for Breakthrough

Join us in fasting from "sun up to church out" on Wednesdays during the month of January. Pastor Randy taught this last Wednesday night that the powerful three-strand cord in our spiritual lives is praying, giving, and fasting, and doing all three produces breakthrough and rewards, individually, as well as a church body. End your fasting day by joining us at the Clovis campus from 7-8pm for a time of prayer, worship and communion.
