This weekend is going to be huge!

The flow is Damon Thompson on Saturday night, Pastor Randy Sunday morning and then Damon is going to finish it all up on Sunday night. Pastor has put a lot of importance on getting people to this Saturday night! If you get them there then Damon will do the rest! This ministry has been so shaped and defined by these Sunday night Services. If you are thinking of going out of town for Labor Day I would change your plans. Not saying that time off isn’t important but hear this, Pastor doesn’t want you to miss the impartation that will be released this weekend!

Next week is the start of our workshop Wednesdays. We are going to have something for the whole Family here on campus. If you’re married then we have your workshop in the sanctuary. If you are single then you have a workshop in the Big Kic auditorium, and of course your children will be taken care of in little Kic. We will also have plates of food for sale before service, so for those of you who are coming straight from work, just bring a little cash for dinner and we will have it all ready for you.

Continue to stir your faith for the harvest. This is our Faith, standing room only every service filled to capacity! For you personally, this should be expectation: show me others who need to be volunteering, God Give me eyes to see them and a heart to perceive, where the next passionate volunteer will come from. God has people who are gifted in your area of ministry and all you need to do is ask them. Show them the vision of serving; help someone else reach for Gods Perfect will in their life. This is how we grow to reach 7000 on a weekend, and this is how a valley becomes Free!

Blog 8/24/12

Thanks again to those who helped out at the Backpack Outreach last Saturday. The impact we made in the community is immeasurable. Because of your involvement the people there will never forget who our God is, and how much he loves them. You have enabled us to touch the lives of not just those children, but their families, neighbors and friends, as well! What you have done will last for eternity as these people come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ! And, our involvement doesn’t stop there because we are expecting to see those families again. Please help us be on the lookout for those families that were impacted, in addition to other new families on campus this weekend.  Remember, we have the opportunity to change their eternity by a smile and welcoming conversation. We all have a responsibility to shepherd people!

The Philippines Benefit Dinner is rapidly approaching! If you haven’t purchased your basket yet, then now is the time. As Rick said Wednesday night, you reap the wind! If you weren’t there Wednesday night, then ask someone who was there about the significance of that statement.  Also, there are some pretty awesome raffle items up for grabs so be sure to invite people to join you that evening. Proceeds will help support the team going to the Philippines, and also the pastors of the 27 Celebration Churches in the Philippines. We want to make sure those pastors have the chance to be raised up as the leaders that God has called them to be.

Make sure you don’t miss the next special service weekend with Damon Thompson.  He will be with us on September 1st and 2nd in our evening services, while Pastor Randy will be giving the message on Sunday morning.  Because of this, Pastor has asked everyone to double up, attending that Saturday night and one of the Sunday morning services.  Sunday night will be another can’t miss service, and a great opportunity to invite family and friends.

Applications for G42 School of Ministry are due soon.   If you have prayerfully considered G42 and you believe you are called to full-time church work, then be sure to get your application in.  Also, if you know someone who intends to submit an application, please remind them to get their application in.

Thank you again for your faithfulness and commitment to serve and impact the lives of everyone who comes onto our campus throughout the week.  We love you and look forward to seeing you this weekend!

BACKPACK OUTREACH IS HERE!!!

Even if you didn’t sign up to serve, come out and see what Celebration is doing in the community! We aren’t just enjoying this rain for our selves; this rain is for the entire valley! Like Pastor said on Wednesday, "We believe to see Gods best for all of those going back to School. Pray for these three in particular, 1) Gods protection over their lives, 2) Gods purpose for their lives, 3) Gods potential in their lives." If you would please be praying that this would be what every child will receive these things when they take one of those backpacks! Thanks for being a part of reaching the valley

Don’t miss this weekend as pastor continues in "Winning."

This is the perfect will of God and the word for you personally so don’t miss out on this amazing, life changing weekend. While you are there, make sure you are connecting with people and being the arms of the church that embrace this valley.

Thank you for everything you do to make Celebration what it is.

 We love you guys,

We've got great news!!
The fundraising dinner for the philippines has been moved to September 14th. What does this mean for you? More time for you and your team to work on getting a basket put together for the auction, and you also have more time to invite people to come and join in on all the fun! There will be more time to creat that "second to none," atmosphere that Celebration is known for, and larger and more diverse group of items to be auctioned off! Don't miss out; a month will be gone before you know it so get the word out and let's make this fundraising dinner one to remember!

This is the last week to turn in your backpacks for the 3rd annual Backpack Outreach! If you misplaced your list of items to put in the backpack, then here they are: paper, pencils, binders, and colored pencils. Please limit supplies to these items. If you want to do more then purchase a second backpack. There are a lot of good deals going on at Walgreens, DD's discounts and many other places. If you would like more great deals you can check out the Celebration Facebook page and see what people are talking about. We need your help to spread the word make sure people get their backpacks turned in.

We have had a lot of people sign up to volunteer on the 18th but you know what they say, "the more the merrier!" We always have room for you to come and help us reach lost and hurting people in this valley. This years Backpack outreach is going to be the best and biggest one yet! We have food vendors and bounce houses, Fresno PD will be there handing out stickers to the kids, and of course lots and lots of backpacks!! With hundreds of families in attendance we would love it if you come and helped us connect. This is how we show our gratitude for what Jesus did for us, we share his love, and hope for a better life with others. Can't wait to see you there!

This weekend make the effort to get all God has for you, bring paper and pen, and of course your Bible. Be prepared to see God do something new in your life. We are praying as a staff for every seat to be filled to capacity, standing room only! This only works if we have a people with that same vision! Be in service if you aren't serving and if you serve this weekend then pick another service where you can sit in and pull on the Word of God that is being presented from the platform. With all of the new faces coming in we need to have passionate believers controlling the atmosphere, setting the atmosphere for God to perform the greatest miracle of all..... Changing people's eternity! Thanks guys we will see you this weekend.

Last thing,
"Back to school prayer" is going on next Wednesday. Pastor has invited all students and education employees specifically to be a part of this night where we are going to pray over their lives and over this next school year. Mark it on your calendar and get your student to Clovis to be prayed over in this special service.

Blog 8-3-12

Hey volunteers in case you haven't heard yet, we thought we would let you in on a little secret.......it's raining!!

Hey so we are having a fundraising dinner for the upcoming trip to the Philippines. You may not know this but celebration church used to go to the Philippines once a year. Since the start of this paid and full campaign however we have been pouring all of our finances and time into making that building a reality. God told pastor long ago however, that if we made it happen over there He would make it happen here. So we are going! This is your chance to take part in what God is doing in that nation. The Philippines benefit dinner is happening on August 10th and tickets are ready for you to purchase out at the events and outreach table in the lobby. There will be music and production elements to show a little of what we are doing while we are in the Philippines. There will also be a silent auction and raffle prizes throughout the evening and all proceeds will be put towards supporting the team going to the Philippines. If you would like to know any other ways you can get involved connect with staff this weekend and find out!

Backpack outreach
If you are looking to get involved here at home then check out the back to school backpack outreach on august 19th. We are going to impact our community on a larger scale this year because we have been seeing rain! Rain in our lives means more opportunity to impact others. We will be holding this years backpack outreach at Manchester mall on Blackstone and Shields. We have plenty of room so make sure you invite people who don't serve to come out and lend a hand. This is a great opportunity to show someone the joys of serving. We are believing to collect over a thousand backpacks this year and we have plenty more to go. We have drop-off bins at all GB3 locations as well so tell all your friends and neighbors they can get involved as well. We also have lists of supplies at the table out in the lobby so don't miss out.

Last,
Don't forget to get the word out about this weekend! Pastor is starting his new series called "Winning." This new series is the key to you walking in the victory that God already made available. Don't miss out on your guarantee to winning. Also this weekend bring someone with you and watch as the rain changes their life too. Glenn Berteau is going to be "fired up and ready to go" this Sunday night, so be there and be expecting.
