March isn’t a Month, it’s an Order.
Damon Thompson kicked off the incredible line up of speakers
we have this month with a couple of powerful services last weekend. He revisited the phrase he spoke to Celebration
a few years ago, that March isn’t a month, it’s an order. Essentially, his message was DON’T QUIT. Don’t quit believing, don’t quit standing,
don’t quit on God, on serving, on your family, your children, or the people in
your life that you’re believing to get saved.
Stay in the fight, and know that we’re standing with you.
March Madness Continues this Saturday with Glen
Berteau!
Just a moment of clarification: Unlike Damon, all of our special guest
speakers this month will speak exclusively on Saturday nights, not Saturday and
Sunday. What this means is, get on over
to the Clovis campus on Saturday nights because you have one chance to hear
these powerful men of God! These
Saturdays are also a huge opportunity to invite people who need to know
Christ. Get them there, and their lives
WILL be changed.
Not only that, the
Rescued series continues this weekend! Hopefully
you were here last weekend to hear Jason Green from Celebration Salinas kick it
off. He knocked it out of the park, and
this weekend is only going to get better.
C-Groups!!!
Yes, these groups deserve that many exclamation points
because they are that big a deal. C-Groups
are a way of life at Celebration now, so join in! A special thank you to those who are leading
a group. What you’re doing is providing
an opportunity for relationships to be built, for people to gain a sense of
belonging, and to have fun! There is
eternal value in leading a group.
If you
have an idea for a group and would like to lead it, forms are available on the
weekend and Wednesday nights at the C-Group table. Even if you’re not leading a group, we
encourage you to regularly visit the table because we are constantly adding new
groups for you to get involved in.
Life Discussions for Ages 18-29
That’s right, we have something just for YOU every Thursday
night on the Clovis campus at 7 pm. It’s
an opportunity to hang out, have fun, and discuss topics that pertain
specifically to your age group and stage of life. It’s a great time, so don’t miss out!
Volunteer of the Week is…Yuliana Franco!
Yuliana is an incredible member of the greeting team. She radiates sincere joy and makes every
person who walks through the doors feel valued.
She is also the leader of the C-Group Meeting the Need, one of the
outreach groups. Thank you, Yuliana, for
being such a light on our campus and in the community.
Because you are leaders, we value your thoughts. So, we want to hear from you! Each week we’re going to ask for some
feedback, and those who comment consistently will be handsomely rewarded! (More on that to come.) Here’s this week’s topic: What “attractions”
(such as cotton candy, bounce houses, food vendors, and other fun elements on campus) would
you like to see on the weekends? Give us
your good ideas by commenting below, and include your name!
We love and appreciate each and every one of
you. Let’s make this a great weekend!
